Birthdate: October 6th

Bio: Lady Vee is a Jackson native, mother of 2, and longtime veteran of Jackson radio. For over 25 years listeners have enjoyed her laid back style and pleasant personality. She helps listeners through the work-day morning with her patented "Morning Stretch" and an upbeat blend of Jackson's favorite soft soul.

Hobbies: Games of chance, billiards, bowling.

Likes: Making every day count as if it was the last…simply enjoying life.

Dislikes: People who pretend to be something they're not.

Ideal Date: Spending an evening with someone who is attentive, maybe dinner at a nice restaurant- or even better- A quiet dinner at home prepared by him or me. (She's a great cook, but she loves a man who can cook, too!) She is single, so if this sounds like you, you know where to call!!! :-)

In addition to his management duties with WJMI, WOAD, and WKXI, Stan also works behind the mic every week-day afternoon from 4-7 keeping Jackson's Soft Soul fans company on the drive home.

This proud papa is married with two children and a dog named "Lil G". During his off time, Stan enjoys spending as much time as possible with the family.

Hobbies: Horseback riding, basketball, video games (football!!), watching old movies.

Likes: The island of Maui, Blackjack, socializing with interesting people.

Dislikes: People who aren't "real" with themselves.

Rob Jay

Monday-Friday from Noon - 4 PM
& Saturdays from 6-10 AM for The Saturday Morning Blues Workshop.

You may know Rob from his job as the sports guy on WLBT-TV3 or as one of the voices of JSU sportscasts, but this busy broadcaster got his start working on Kixie back in the days when it was a small low-powered AM station. Still Kixie was the little station with big ratings and Rob along with his sidekick "Pops" helped draw even more listeners. We're proud to still have Rob in the Kixie radio family- (even if he does hang around with those TV types...) Nowadays Rob lays down your requests from 12-1 during the lunchtime oldies show and helps you pass the last few hours of your workday with the capital city's finest blend of soft soul hits and oldies. Then on Saturday it's time to unwind with "The Blues Workshop" from 6-10 AM. Along with Pops and Mississippi Sinatra, Rob helps get your week-end started with the best blues on the radio including your requests at 601-995-1075.

Evelyn Reed
"Jazzy DJ"

Evelyn is originally from the Windy City, Chicago, but now calls Jackson home. She started in radio over 18 years ago when the general manager and program director of a local radio station heard her voice and asked her to submit an air check (she had no idea what an air check was). She was hired on the spot and has been in radio ever since. Evelyn has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, both from Jackson State University.

Catch Evelyn behind the mic on Kixie 107's All Oldies Weekend.

Saturday - 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Sunday - 8:00 a.m. until Noon.

Hobbies: Music, of course, golf, taking black and white photographs, and refinishing old furniture.

Likes: Jazz, a good meal, a good hard rain, and stimulating conversation.

Dislikes: Phony, pretentious people.
