50 Cent has defended his decision to speak out about Sean “Diddy” Combs, citing his long-standing perspective on the music mogul. “It seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I haven’t.” 50 Cent tells PEOPLE for calling out Combs’ alleged actions over the past decade. The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, explained that his recent comments are in line with his views over the past decade. “Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with the Puffy stuff, but away from that, I’m like, ‘Yo, it’s just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because this is not my style.’ ” Amid Combs’ legal troubles, 50 Cent announced a Netflix documentary titled “Diddy Do It?” to shed light on the situation and support survivors of sexual assault.
