Rob Jay

You may know Rob from his time as the Sports Director for WLBT-TV3, or most recently his work with Jackson State University, but this busy broadcaster got his start working on Kixie back in the days when it was a small low-powered AM station. Still Kixie was the little station with big ratings and Rob along with his sidekick “Pops” helped draw even more listeners. We’re proud to still have Rob in the Kixie radio family. Nowadays Rob lays down your requests from 12-1 during the lunchtime oldies show and helps you pass the last few hours of your workday with the capital city’s finest blend of soft soul hits and oldies. Then on Saturday it’s time to unwind with the most popular radio program in Mississippi, The Original Saturday Morning Blues Workshop from  6-10 AM. Along with Pops and Mississippi Sinatra, Rob helps get your week-end started with the best blues on the radio including your requests at 601-995-1075.
